The Shipowners’ Mutual Protection & Indemnity Association, a member of the International Group of P&I Clubs, has been in the P&I market for the past 160 years and specialises in P&I insurance for medium, small and specialised vessels. It currently insures around 35,000 such vessels worldwide. SOP is interactively rated ‘A Stable’ by S&P and is regarded as one of the strongest P&I Clubs in the Indian market for small and specialised vessels.
